haha, i’m really flattered. dunno about the future and the reactions of my country mates in Mongolia. or maybe i’ll face the reverse culture shock. hopefully not. kk.

lucky u’ve got a kid with full of potential. tnx 4 raising such a good and promising citizen. i am actually afraid to be a big influence on your child’s 1 of the crucial decisions of life and also I am not very interested in Accounting & Admin field, so do not have much info. if your kid could put much effort into his chosen field, it doesn’t actually matter which profession. i hope that u listened to his heart or his wish and u could be right about those 2 professions, which r convertible everywhere, however don’t forget about the facts like outsource-able etc …

Software Engineer & Accountant r both in high demand in Australia and I can’t predict the world’s trend in the next decade. Maybe something could be found from my big bro Google or lil sis Wiki if u ask them, kk. Accountants are no longer listed in skills shortage in Melbourne Victoria from this year as far as I remember.

As an IT junior pro in OZ, I could say that IT pros in India or China have more bright future than the ones in the developed countries like USA or AU, coz due to the financial crisis, companies are shutting down their expensive branches, getting rid of the engineers firstly. Tourism, Airlines, Entertainment, Recreation and Logistic industries are in a bad situation.

Recently I heard that Sun-Microsystems closed all its Australian branches and over 3000 Australian IT pros lost their jobs. Similarly, most of the big companies are now outsourcing from Phillipines, India and Indonesia.

But still there is always an opportunity for the person, who has a passion, enthusiasm and experience in a particular field.

Based on the Australian skill demand information, more and more sub-fields of IT professions are showing the consistent increase of demand here, not only a software programmer, but also other IT fields, but the accepting number of skilled workers is decreasing and going back to its normal limit.

It would be nice if every Mongolian have an access to the database or any statistic information about Mongolian job market and employment plan of the country. I heard that we r outsourcing some construction workers from our neighboring country. better 2 become a builder though. kkk jook shoo!
